MetroMap.me is a free public transportation route-planning tool providing route information, transfer planning, fare estimation, timetables, and accessibility guides for multiple cities. The service is operated and maintained by TripBento, a company registered in Singapore.

2. Beta Version and Algorithm Limitation Disclaimer

Please be aware that our core route-planning algorithm is currently in a “Beta” testing phase.

• Experimental Nature: The routes generated are for reference and technical validation purposes. They may not represent the absolute optimal path regarding travel time, transfer convenience, or walking distance.
• No Liability for Delays: We do not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of the suggested routes. TripBento shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect losses—including but not limited to missed trains, delayed appointments, or financial damages—resulting from algorithmic deviations, individual walking speeds, or unexpected station conditions. Users are strongly advised to allocate sufficient buffer time for their journeys.

3. Data Sources and Timeliness

The information provided on this platform is aggregated from public domains and third-party sources (e.g., OpenStreetMap contributors © OpenStreetMap contributors).

• Non-Real-Time Data: Our data is not sourced directly from real-time official transit APIs. While we strive to maintain accurate information, we cannot guarantee the real-time accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of timetables, fares, or station facilities.
• Temporary Changes: Temporary station closures, emergency schedule changes, or elevator maintenance may not be immediately reflected on our platform. Always refer to official announcements and on-site staff for the most authoritative information.

4. Special Disclaimer on Map Data (Map Compliance)

The base maps, coordinates, and geographical information used in this service are sourced from international open-source projects or third-party providers.

• Visual Reference Only:The boundaries, administrative divisions, and geographical features displayed are solely for visual reference in route planning. They do not represent TripBento’s official stance on territorial sovereignty, political borders, or specific geographic entities.
• No Legal Liability: We assume no legal liability regarding the political accuracy, completeness, or spatial precision of the maps. For matters requiring official compliance or sensitive geographical information within specific jurisdictions (e.g., mainland China), please consult the standard maps officially published by the respective national authorities.

5. Intellectual Property and Commercial Use

MetroMap.me is an unofficial, third-party service.

• Trademarks:All transit system names (e.g., “Shanghai Metro”) and related logos are registered trademarks of their respective official operators.
• Copyright: The code, design, proprietary algorithms, and specific data compilations on this site are the copyrighted property of TripBento.
• Prohibition of Commercial Use: Without our express written consent, you may not redistribute, copy, or utilize this service or its data for any commercial purposes.
• Prohibition of Data Scraping: The use of automated scripts, scrapers, spiders, or similar technologies to extract data from our platform is strictly prohibited.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall TripBento, its directors, employees, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the service.
